Reflect

Reflect on Second Life as an educational and training tool.

To Ponder

  • Given the knowledge/skills learned, what do I think about SL as an instructional tool?
  • What could be done better?
  • How could the barriers to usage be overcome?
  • How can it be used in creative ways?
  • How can it be used in blended learning?
  • What are it’s pedagogical affordances?
  • What Second Life skills should I learn next that go beyond the basics?

Are kids different because of digital media?

The MacArthur Foundation is exploring how technology is changing kids and learning, committing $50 million to this initiative. More information is at www.digitallearning.macfound.org.

Pay Attention
